NCPC, as one of the first 6 technical innovation experiment site enterprises in China and part of the national “863” plan: industrialization base of achievement of new and high technology research and development program, has a professional and technical group with more than 4000 members, among which 43 are senior talents who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council or are awarded experts with outstanding contributions in Hebei province, 12 have obtained doctor degree, 775 are senior professional technical personnel,1103 are middle-level professional technical personnel. NCPC has strong capability to conduct researches and development and has taken the lead in China in developing dozens of new products, including bacitracin, kasugamycin, pingyangmycin, amphotericin B, lincomycin, clindamycin, clindamycin phosphate, norvancomycin, mecobalamine and EPO. NCPC has won 5 National Invention Awards and 20 National Progress Awards. Up to now, NCPC has submitted 357 patent applications, obtained 173 effective patents, among which 142 are patents for invention. NCPC has 191 registered brands.
